Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love water polo and I want to continue to play the sport for many years. It is my passion. It keeps me in shape and I have a lot to offer a team with my work ethic and sportsmanship. I love being part of a team and will bring a positive force to that team.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was elected by my peers to be the Women's Water Polo Captain for my Senior Year and one of the female Swim Team Captains Also. Sunset HS is the 6A State Swim Champions this last year. I am a lifeguard and teach toddlers and small children to swim (paid). I will be a CREW leader for Sunset HS this year, helping new students get introduced and stay involved at Sunset HS.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try to follow a healthy diet and stretching to avoid injuries and I do not use drugs or alcohol or performance enhancing drugs.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer with my parents at Meals on Wheels preparing food baskets for the holidays. I like knowing our efforts help seniors and those less fortunate to have a meal. I help around my school to beautify the grounds. It makes me proud of my school.
