Personal Highlights

Hockey is my passion but I play other sports and am active in my community as well. Here are some of the things that I have done:
- work as a hockey referee (Hockey Canada level 1 certification) and timekeeper
- help out on ice at younger team's hockey practices
- play on junior varsity hockey team at my high school
- working on my lifeguard certification, I currently hold Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid/ CPR
- play rugby for Crusaders Rugby Club, winning the provincial championship in 2018
- member of my high school cross-country team
- logged 150 volunteer hours over the past 1.5 years by helping the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund, Kerr Street Mission, Community Youth Action Network and others
- achieved bronze level of Duke of Edinburgh Award for youth (for Physical Activity, Service, Skills) and currently working on achieving silver
- voted Minister of Athletics on Student Parliament
- awarded school medal for leadership, academics, athletics and school spirit
- chosen by teachers to attend Ontario Educational Leadership Camp and participate in a provincial athletic leadership conference
- selected to work with Toronto Argonauts Football Club running an anti-bullying program at my school
- created anti-bullying PSA that was selected as top PSA for the school board and screened before feature films in theatres
