Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

College will be a major part of my growth as an adult & its's where my biggest and most important decisions for my professional life will be started and set in motion. I love the game of baseball and will take it as far as it allows me. As a back up my goal is to be a science or biology major that will well position me for a Medical School in preparation to be a Doctor. On the Diamond I expect to leave everything on the field, day in and day out. I plan to lead by example and it will be shown in my hard work and dedication to the game. As I grow mentally and physically I plan to be a asset to the team and be used in any way that I can help the team because I know the whole, is greater than the sum of its parts when individuals sacrifice for the team and know there role and play there role. I will be the best representative I can possible be and always play by the rules on and off the field.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Its hard to be a leader as a freshmen playing varsity baseball but everyone has noticed my hard work and dedication to the game. Im always the first one to each practice and game and the other players use to stroll along and get there just in time. Now they all get there early and warm up with me and were ready to go when coach calls us.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Diet & Exercise. I'm on the field 5 days a week with the team either practicing or playing games. In between study and homework I work out at home in my home gym and I take my vitamins and protein drinks. I make sure I don't burn out and take time as needed doing other things.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer time with the Miracle league in my town when the season comes around. I enjoy helping the kids when they have baseball games. I tried to do best buddies within our school but the time didn't allow me to do it because of the heavy baseball schedule. We are fortunate to be healthy and I really feel compassion for those who are less fortunate than me.
