Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love running and competing in cross country and track. It is a part of my life that brings me happiness and accomplishment and I hope to be able to continue running in college because of this.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

In cross country and track I have taken responsibility of creating positive environment and welcome all on the team. In life I always try to be as inclusive as possible and I love being on the Ambassador Leadership Board for our school.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I always make sure I make the most of my recovery time, whether that’s taking an ice bath or eating healthy, I always strive to prevent injury and keep my legs ready for more workouts.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer regularly at Mercy General Hospital. Every day I volunteer I have an overwhelming sense of happiness because I know that I am helping others.
