Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I am dedicated to improving myself physically in the realm of sports while getting benefits for expanding my academic career.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a leader on the field by continuously pushing my teammates to improve theirselves while in practice and in the weight room. Off of the football field I am involved in Waukee Warrior Regiment Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Band. Also, I help lead students in the classroom by helping them understand difficult subjects I excel in.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance as a student-athlete by always putting my education first. I am extremely dedicated to academics, maintaining a 4.1 GPA and committed in the weight room by consistently going to weight lifting at 6 AM four times a week.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been an active volunteer at many fundraiser events with a non profit organization, Cops Against Cancer. My service roles at numerous Cops Against Cancer BBQ fundraisers were set up, serving food, and cooking food. I enjoy helping raise money to provide financial assistance for cancer patients while promoting cancer awareness within the community. I volunteered at Lutheran Church of Hope Church as a production team member and food server at VBS in 2018. Volunteering is very important to me and I enjoy helping others. I am currently a member of Mentors In Violence Prevention at Waukee High School which teaches younger students how to be safe in social situations. I have volunteered over 175 hours in the last year and received the Silver Cord Award.
