Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have honed my skills in soccer since I was in 6th grade. I not only play it, follow it, and watch it, but define part of myself from it. I would love to find a school opportunity where I can pursue my educational goals yet play a sport that I love. Since 7th grade I have trained young kids ages 5 through 12 in drills, shooting, dribbling, but most importantly, the joy of playing soccer. I would love to continue my own joy for the sport in college.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field I try to be a leader by encouraging others and their pursuits for excellence. I do not degrade nor pretend I know everything and always work to help team mates younger than me that become part of my team. I was honored my freshman year in high school when I earned the Peoria Christian Charger Way award for both soccer in the Fall and baseball in the Spring. The Charger Way Award acknowledges those students who are a Christian leader both on and off the field. Off the field, in school, I am respectful of others, am involved in key club, and go out of my way to help new students and be good team members in my class projects.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I work towards a balance between school, sports, and my family home life. There are times when one of those takes precedence, but I strive to remember that all 3 are important in my life. I grew up with my mom instilling in me the importance of good sleep, vitamins, stying in good physical condition, and eating right. I celebrate my victories and try to learn from my mistakes.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Service is such an important part of being not only a student athlete but a Christian. My high school requires service hours each year. I volunteer at my church, local shelters, and other outreach organizations. I help with pet rescues and am a member of my key club at school where we do lots of outreach in the community. It is important to give back to your community when able. I have lots of blessings and want to share any gifts or talents I have with people or animals in need.
