Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I would like to be recruited because I am passionate about my sport and would like to pursue it beyond high school and hopefully even beyond college.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I often demonstrate leadership in classes during group activities. Often I will be the one to lead projects and make sure everyone in my group understands the content clearly. With my team I set good examples by leading stretches, drills, etc. and making sure everyone has the proper mentality going into workouts and races.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by attempting to eat a healthy amount of healthy foods, taking self-care measures such as icing and vitamin supplements, and making sure I get a healthy amount of sleep each night.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am currently a club officer in my school's Red Cross Club. I work to not only get myself involved but also those around me, and have in fact influenced team members to join the club as well. These efforts are important because I believe that my purpose in life is to have a positive impact on others, whether that be through innovative products, being a good role model, or through volunteer work.
