Baseball Factory All Mid-Atlantic Player - Class of 2022
I feel that playing a sport in college along with the academics provides an overall college experience. In order to do both, you are required to be dedicated, organized and driven - all of which I feel I'm destined to achieve.
I'm vocal on the bench and on the field always giving encouragement, guidance and support to my teammates. There are times when things don't go your way. Maybe it's a bases loaded 3rd out or a fielding error. I think my support and encouragement lets my teammates know that I'm behind them no matter what because putting blame isn't productive to anyone.
Physically I work out with a personal trainer for overall fitness twice a week. I have been working on velocity training twice a week and batting practice 1-2 times a week. As a student, I balance the athletics and classroom with equal dedication.
- Volunteer/Junior Coach: Mercer Bulldogs Special Ice Hockey Program
- Member of the St. David the King Church BOLD Youth Ministry
- School clubs: African-American Club, Catholic Athletes for Christ, Student Ambassador, Take2 (transfer students club)
These are important to me because it let’s me give back, learn from others and feel a sense of helping others.
