Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I really enjoy swimming and rowing..and want to continue with one of these sports. I like having the physical outlet from my heavy coursework, and I love being part of a team....I think it would make my college experience that much more fun!!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am currently organizing a drive for the salvation army MOPS group. I got my swim team to donate diapers and feminine products for the moms living at the Shelter who cannot afford these things.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I think it's different for everyone. I take my nutrition seriously and make sure I get enough protein. I also study hard but take a break and listen to music if I start to feel overwhelmed. I have found my teammates to be a great source of stress relief! It's very important to balance my sports schedule and my school schedule ...and not let either one get me down

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I lifeguard and teach swim lessons at the high school. I love watching the little kids.! I also teach religious education at my Church every Monday.
