Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play sports in college for many reasons. One reason I want to play is that sports have been a huge part of my life and I want to continue to play them in the future. Also, I love to play and be apart of a team where I can do something outside of myself. Soccer is very enjoyable and I love to play the game.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On previous soccer and basketball teams I have been captain and tried my hardest to be the best leader I can be. Outside of athletics at school I went through an application/interview proccess to be accepted into a class that’s called PALs(peer assistant leadership). Everyday I learn how to be a leader and make right decisions in my everyday life.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try to maintain as much balance as possible between sports and academics. All year round I mantain my fitness due to having club soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter, and soccer in the spring. I am always trying to run long distance on my own because it is something I love to do. Working out is a normal part of my life which helps me a lot in the sports that I do.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am apart of Red Cross Club, which is doing community service around your community. We do several fundraisers at our school to help several charities. Also, I participate in helping out local recreational youth basketball program at camps.
