Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I hope to be recruited to be a coxswain in college, because I have a genuine passion and love for the sport that just keeps growing as I get older. Along with the fact that I personally I believe that I flourish in a team atmosphere.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a coxswain, I must exercise my role as a leader both on land and on the water. Making sure that each and every one of my rowers is doing their best both mentally and physically, and making sure I am giving my all for them each and every day; as I know they are.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In my community, I have volunteered many hours at my local nursing home. It is very important to me to be a proactive member of my community.
