Indoor Honors

Broke the 4 by 400m record (3:46.30 new record) while not being at full strength. As a relay team, we were 2 seconds off the 4 by 200m conference record.

Outdoor Honors

Came back from a half season injury to race in the two last meets to beat the teams PR for the 4 by 400, and beat my own PR for the 400m.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

To allow myself to be a team player for as long as I can.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field leadership is asking High School coaches to add extra workouts during the weekend. Off the field leadership is encouraging teammates to have practices over the summer with groups including myself.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Managing time with school to allow yourself to have weightlifting every week day. Monday and Thursday track and field training. Also controlling the amount of sugar, fat, carbohydrates, and protein in your digestive system.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

As a ex pacient at Luries Children's Hospital every Christmas as a family we buy gifts for the children. The week before Christmas we take the trip to Chicago to give the gifts to the children who can not spend Christmas at home.
