Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I would like to continue to swim in college and help a school's team with my talents. i believe i still have so much to learn and accomplish and can do even better but only with the right coaching if i continue with swimming. Swimming is a lifestyle and commitment to hard work. It translates into every other aspect of my life. Olympic trials are in my sights!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was named the youngest Captain of The Stony Brook School swim team. I lead by example setting the pace for practices and respect. I lead prayer for the team to encourage and support them. I volunteer at Light House Missions during my off hours and set an example to other students through my behavior.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

i train hard. How you train is how you will perform. I hold other members of the team accountable. i show respect for my coach and teachers and will speak with students and swimmers who are exhibiting a bad attitude. i maintain a healthy lifestyle and eat right encouraging my teammates to do the same. We are against drinking, drugs, vaping, energy drinks and other stimulants and am not afraid to lead by example.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

President of "Teens for Soldiers" volunteering at the local VA Hospital to help those veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country. I am also a volunteer at Light House Missions helping feed poor and homeless children to give them hope and a role model.
