Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

College in general will develop me into a better scholar, athlete, and a man overall. I want to become the best version of myself and being a student-athlete in college will help me do so. I want to be able to keep developing my leadership, communication, athletic and academic skills going forward.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

It is a great responsibility being a student-athlete. As a student-athlete, you are always in a spotlight on and off the track, court, field, pool, or whatever it may be. It is important to be an exemplary role model to the younger people looking up to you on a daily basis. I demonstrate leadership by teaching and encouraging everyone around me, leading not only vocally, but also physically. I lead by example and bring the energy and discipline to the max. I always show my respect and conduct myself in a manner that is respectful to myself and everyone around me. Before meet, game, or even practice, I continue to tell everyone that effort is required of everyone in order for us to have a great season as a team.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by maintaining healthy eating habits, staying hydrated, having a strict sleep schedule, and eliminating most, if not all of the negatives from my day-to-day lifestyle. I set aside time every night to study extra on a daily basis because cramming is never a good idea. Since I am so busy during the week being a student-athlete, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and cherish every single second of it. Every once in a while I try to do something new to make myself as versatile as it is humanly possible, or trying a new activity which will enrich my free time. I take advantage of every opportunity i am given and taught myself how to live life to its fullest. I also try to pass my knowledge to all of the people surrounding me, especially my little sister showing her how to manage her time between family, school and sports.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

As a proud member of National Honor Society, putting others ahead of myself has always been a number one priority. From 2015 to 2019 i have volunteered for about 400+ verified commuity service hours and strived to better my town and towns around it. Volunteering is always very important because every person plays a role in making their community strong. It is necessary for everyone to take responsibility for the way in which they live and to figure out how they can help others.
