Personal Highlights

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be continued to play sports, so I could play at the professional level. I want to epitomize that "All-American" basketball player despite having the resources to do so. I want to humbly and respectfully be that athlete-icon that encourages strong academic success as well as athletic success. I want to be the symbol of hope, triumph, optimism, and success. I want to graduate college while playing at high level, preferably the Division I level. I want to be a pure, student athlete like Tim Duncan. I want to be the humble kind of player that shows persistence through anything like Tim Duncan did. Tim Duncan is arguably the greatest power forward of all time and this is why I want to be recruited to play sports in college.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a leader in both academic and athletic aspects. I have the best grades on the team, I am selfless on the court, I make no excuses whether I am right or wrong, and I am a team player. I am not the best player, but I grow individually and collectively with my teammates. I am a team captain and the best passer in the program said by the coaches. I am deemed as a great playmaker with high basketball IQ, as well as a great decision maker.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by being coachable, having faith in those who want to benefit you, as well as being responsibly and accountable are steps in the right direction for any athlete. I have a humble mentality by knowing my abilities and trying to improve them, knowing that there is no thing as perfection and continue to strive through any obstacles I may face.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am heavily involved in my community, I am a part of National Honors Society, I am apart of Students of Promise including Big Brother Big Sister Tutoring, and almost any other Warrensville Heights Program. I am involved with Warrensville political aspects being involved with Warrensville's superintendent, councilmen and councilwomen, and the mayor. I also help kids in the religious-based program Divas and Soldiers. I use community service in all of these programs, pitch ideas to benefit the city of Warrensville, lead and represent the scholars of Warrensville, and continue to strive for success.
