I want to be recruited to play sports in college to continue my athletic pursuits and maintain a healthy lifestyle on and off the field. I am determined to become better as an athlete and as a person through sport.
I am the Varsity Cross Country captain at Fort Cherry and I lead my team in warm ups and help guide my fellow teammates in core workouts and provide advice on relative material to become stronger physically and mentally. Off the field I am the president of our bible club and lead my fellow classmates in prayer to connect with their faith and relate it to their everyday lives.
I pursue a healthy athletic performance by maintaining healthy habits. I perform performance or recovery work outs 5-6 days a week. I implement a diet that cuts back on junk food and that will provide me with the proper nutrients to supply my athletic ability and fuel my growth. I avoid harmful substances and addictions such as drugs or alcohol that could hinder my athletic potential.
I am involved in my schools bible club which allows for the a connection between Church and school. Through my role as president in bible club, I am in contact with followers of faith in my community such as the local church pastor, youth group organizers, parents, and teachers.
