Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love to compete and challenge myself in all things. I love the camaraderie of my teammates and being part of a group that cares for one another. I also find that combining academics and athletics help me manage my time wisely.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have helped tutor my teammates that needed help in subjects that I am strong in such as chemistry and pre-calc, and physics. Athletically, I helped manage off season workouts even as an under class man.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I just try to make sure I am physically and mentally ready to compete at my best. I train year round for my athletics as I also play varsity field hockey. I strive to make sure I am mentally ready to compete also.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Our team sponsors Mother's Cupboard as our charitable giving organization. We help gather donated non-perishable food items for underprivileged families in our area. It is rewarding to give back knowing how fortunate I have been throughout my life.
