Personal Highlights

I'm the son of my coach and the oldest of four children. A member of my high school cross country team and a letter winner in wrestling as well as swim and dive

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Since I was young I have had a dream to continue my diving career in college. I would love to continue to be part of a team and learn from a college coach.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a sophomore I was named captain of my high school team. I took a role in team building outside of the pool, setting up events and building relationships with my teammates. In the water, I tried to lead by setting an example of hard work and dedication to my teammates.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

A healthy athletic performance is one that demonstrates improvement and technical skills in diving, but also recognizes the duty of a student and is based on academic achievement first. It also is one that shows growth in life skills learned through sports (teamwork, sportsmanship, etc)

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I spend a lot of time in service because 1. I want to help others and 2. It is personally a foundation of my Christian faith. I serve each week in our children's ministry as a teen volunteer. I was also asked by our principal to help with a youth running program, which I do two days a week. I also have volunteered with Special Olympics and served at a summer camp volunteer worker.
