Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I enjoy working as a team and meeting new people. I think athletics builds character, confidence, and self esteem.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I remember my team not doing very well at a tournament and I had to be the positive person to help bring them back around to playing to their full potential. I brought them all into a huddle and gave them a positive pep talk and we ended up winning that tournament after being down 1-3 to start the day.

My whole outlook and belief is to lead by example. I try to be the best person I can be on and off the field. I love to be a role model for younger kids so they can see where hard work and dedication will get you.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I worked out all summer 4 times a week (2 weight room, 2 agility/velocity training) and work hard on my academics to keep my grade point up. I feel that it's important to keep your body in shape during the off season.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I try and help where I can whether it is mentoring younger girls in sports or supporting fundraisers such as ALS, or anything with animals. These things are important to me because I want to be a good role model for younger girls and do what I can to help with expenses for research and needs of others.
