Personal Highlights

Going from D- to B- in the matter of 2 months on esea, a better, 128 tick matchmaking service for CSGO. Took advanced mathematics courses since middle school. Taking AP courses as well as high-level courses such as pre-calc and physics. Critical thinker and IGL for multiple csgo teams. Have lead a few to win prize money in tournaments.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play esports in college?

Esports has always held a special place in my heart and has been a dream of mine for a long time. When I first started playing csgo I felt a special connection with the game that I haven't felt with other games. I had talent in that game, my friends who played with me even said I was significantly better than most other players with my hours in the game. I constantly train and practice to be the best of the best and achieving my dream of going pro one day in csgo.

Being a part of a competitive esports team can provide opportunities for leadership.Provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in and out of game.

In game, I have demonstrated leadership numerous times through my IGL (In-game leader) role. I cal out what strats to run, when to rotate players, when to execute and overall how my team executes a round. Out of game, I demonstrate leadership skills by taking initiative on group projects as well as getting people focused and ready for new tasks in projects.

Balancing academics, gaming performance and a healthy lifestyle are extremely important. How do you pursue a healthy balance of these factors in your esports career?

I always spend time studying for tests and doing homework after school. In gaming performance, I always spend half an hour to an hour to warmup my aim and spray control before entering a pug. I keep a healthy lifestyle by going to the gym for an hour and a half daily.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have helped time and record the times for local swim meets as well as babysat grade school children at a grade school summer week long event. I have also TA'ed for a grade school to help teachers grade assignments and run things through the office.
