Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I'm an extremely competitive and motivated person that enjoys the challenges of pushing myself and my teammates to achieve success. Over the thirteen years of playing competitive soccer, lacrosse and ice hockey, I've learned how to be an effective leader as well as team player. I work hard both on and off the field and earn the respect of my coaches and team mates through my strong work ethic.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field, I work hard to go out of the way to make others successful. As I've progressed through my high school sports career, I've built relationships with and have helped my younger and "new to the team" teammates come quickly up to speed and I strive to set a positive example for them to follow - work ethic, attitude, and skills advancement. I know our team will only exceed when our team comes together, not as individuals. Off the field, I've built strong friendships with my peers and teammates and help the less fortunate through my community volunteer work, church and coaching younger athletes.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I provide volunteer services with Habitat for Humanity to build houses and work in the kitchen and as a server at God's Kitchen. I've been blessed with many things including the opportunity to attend a great school, raised in a strong family, and having the skills and passion to play sports. When there are opportunities to share and work with others, I feel a sense of duty and pride to do so.
