Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Why not? I love being a part of a team. Not matter, win or lose, I am loyal to my team. During Hurricane Michael, when others left town and went to play elsewhere, I stayed with my team. It was where I belong and I would have never been successful at another high school. My heart was where my home was...Mosley High School!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As my coach would emphasize #BGT (Be a good team member). As a captain on the football team, I would talk with the other players and encourage them on how well they are doing. I also worked with some of the players who needed help.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I knew how important it is for players to implement a healthy lifestyle while playing. That means no sodas; eating plenty of vegetables; drinking plenty of water; no smoking (which I never do anyway); getting plenty of rest; and eating less fast food and junk food. And during games, I cramped less than most players because I always maintain a healthy lifestyle during the football season.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am currently mentoring another student at a behavioral school. The young man plays the same position as I in middle school. I want to encourage and expose him to see what he can be someday and to work with him and to help him get back to his zoned school.

I walked across the stage, received my diploma, and it’s time to find a school to play football.
