Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

By participating in a highly competitive nationally high school football program I compete against nationally ranked athletes and I feel that I can bring my academic and athletic abilities to a university. I view myself as a well-rounded student that has overcome challenges to put myself in the position to achieve my academic and athletic goals.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have involved myself in the Christian Athletes group within my high school and participated in several events in which I have assisted mentally challenged children interact through sports.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I have learned to balance participation in a highly competitive nationally high school football program and academics by challenging myself day in and day out with a structured schedule. In order to achieve my goals I seek to perform to my highest level in athletic competition as well as in the classroom.
