Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Hockey is a sport I have done since I was in 1st/2nd grade, I have grown into a good player (well I think good enough for college) and the sport makes me happy, I make memories and share laughs with teammates and friends, I also share sadness and anger during important losses and mistakes. I have learned many things from the great sport of hockey, and I am just not ready to give it up yet.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have so far played 3 years (soon to be 4) of varsity high school hockey, I worked hard each year and plan to work even harder this year, in my Junior year I was dubbed assistant captain and I am a likely candidate for head captain my senior year. I also go to all in season and out of season team based events, not only to build more chemistry, better friendships, and meet new players, but to get better as well.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I take vitamins daily, I work out about 6 days a week, I lifeguard at an outdoor pool, when my friends are over we go outside a lot, I eat healthy food (thanks to my mom), and I don't drink, smoke, or vape.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer for annual "Rake and Runs" , I participate in Gliding Stars at The Pond Ice Rink. I find volunteering important because having a clean environment makes the world a more healthy place which brings people together, also giving back or helping the less fortunate helps you appreciate what you have.
