Personal Highlights

I have grown up in 4 different countries and the exposure to different cultures, languages, people, and traditions has led me to be open-minded, hardworking, and understanding of others. I moved to the United States in middle school and started rowing in 8th grade and I've been rowing ever since!

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

The reason I want to be recruited is because rowing is a sport that I instantly connected to. It's such a demanding sport and it always pushes me to my limits in a way that nothing else really does. I want to keep doing it as long as I can because it's so rewarding as you see yourself improve and push to do things that you didn't think you were capable of. I have become much more determined and hardworking from this sport I want to bring that into college.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am member of a club at my school called Pride Pals. We have lunch, organize events, and bond with students with disabilities at school. It is something that really allows the student population to bridge the gap between different communities at school. Pride Pals is something that's important to me because the friendships I make with the students make a big difference to me and to them. We benefit from each other and I constantly learn new things.
