I began catching in 4th grade because our team needed someone to do it. I asked my dad if he would buy me gear so I could practice. As soon as I began playing that position, I loved it.
I realized it was a natural position for me and I've dedicated myself to improve each time I put the gear on.
I enjoy the mental and physical demands of being a catcher. Doing everything I can to become a complete athlete and a supportive teammate is a priority for me. I love the competition and have learned to respect the game, coaches, and competitors.
My immediate goal is to excel at the high school level and become proficient to play at the collegiate level, and beyond if possible. In the classroom, I continue to work hard to maintain a solid GPA.

I aim to develop into the most complete baseball player I can be. I have a great desire to play baseball at the highest level of competition I can achieve.
I respect my parents, teachers, coaches, umpires, etc. I am there for my friends. I try to conduct myself with good character. I support my teammates and do everything I can to make the team better and help the team achieve success.
I work out hard and as consistently as possible. My mom provides a lot of healthy foods for me. I would never use PEDs.
Our sports teams help with community events. Our schools have held fundraisers to help families in need, especially with medical things. I think it's important because we all need help sometime.
