Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I was a volunteer at Stony Brook Hospital in the summer of 2018. I was also inducted into my school's branch of the National Honor Society, and in doing so I took part in various community service opportunities, whether cleaning up a garden or making sandwiches for the homeless. I am also a part of my town's Interact Club, as this gives me the chance to be exposed to more community service opportunities. I enjoy helping out my community because I love the feeling of knowing I made someone's life a little easier or even put a smile on their face, especially if they were having a difficult day.
