Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

When I go to school every day, the thing that I most look forward to is crew. Anyone of my friends can tell you I never stop talking about it. Crew is where I get to be myself, push my limits, and see so many great people. I am honestly never happier than I am after a hard workout. The sense of accomplishment that I get from it is the best feeling in the world. I know that my college experience will be so much better if I can continue to compete.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On my team, I try to be a role model for new rowers. I volunteer for all the events and fundraisers, and I push myself in practice every day.
Outside of crew, I am a leader of my school's Epidemiology club, where I am responsible for planning weekly lessons and activities for other students.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

During my rowing seasons, I do my best to encourage all of my teammates to achieve their highest potential. I am dedicated, responsible, hard-working, and I love being an active member of the team. Every day I put in my all to get faster and to help my boatmates succeed.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
