Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I'm very passionate about volleyball and love to compete. It has been my goal since I was 12 and I hope to accomplish it.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a leader off the court by being involved at church and working as a youth instructor at summer camps for kids including vacation bible school. I am also creating an organization/club in Wake County targeting environmental issues through volunteer work and advocacy called The Human Handprint that I hope will be started in early September.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I play volleyball usually 5-6 days a week, go to vertimax (intense vertical jump training) twice a week, and I have started to run a few miles almost everyday now as I am training for spring track (I thought it would be a good way to stay in shape). I also go to hot yoga on Wednesdays some times for fun but also for a really good physical and mental workout.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
