She is currently a senior and is looking to play soccer in college. She plays as an attacking both inside and outside mid-fielder. Last season alone, she scored 4 goals and assisted in many others. This season, she was elected captain of the varsity team and scored a goal in the first game.
She has very good foot skills that she developed while playing travel soccer in South Jersey for most of her formative years. Along with her foot skills, she has amazing vision of the field which allows her to effectively distribute the ball to create scoring opportunities for others. She additionally understands the appropriate routes to run for personal scoring opportunities.
Aside from all that, and most importantly in my eyes, are her motivation and work ethic. She arrives at practices early and always prepared. She takes constructive criticism and correction well. She puts her all into every practice and games. Lastly, she never fails to complete any training required in the off-season and on weekends.
Off the field, Marina has an honest and trustworthy character. She is a natural leader and an excellent straight-A student who was awarded a $20,000 leadership scholarship in her junior year. She is the co-chair of the diversity club at Friends Select and will attend the Student Diversity Leadership Conference in Seattle, WA, this year. This will be the second time she was selected by her teachers to attend the conference in her high school years.
Marina would be a valuable asset to any team and to any school she attends. I highly recommend that you review her highlights attached and invite her to practice so that you can witness her skills for yourself.
