Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been seen as a leader by helping my coaches make crucial decisions as well as directing our team on the field as the captain of the soccer team. I can be seen as a leader in my school by being a part of a team that organizes our schools Mini-thon. I have also been a part of events such as Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership, which are entirely based around leadership.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I am able to pursue a healthy athletic performance throughout by maintaining a strict diet as well as weight training during the off season. I am also consistently training and looking to improve my technique in my events as well throughout the year.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am currently involved in service to my community in various ways such as volunteering at community concerts, youth basketball games, as well as many other events through an organization called Families First. Those efforts are very important to me because I am able to give back to the community that has shaped the person that I am today and has provided for my life for many years.
