Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love the atmoshpere, the hype, the rush from winning one point. Being a part of a team that genuinely cares about each other both on and off the court is just as important as trying to better your skill. The sport is intense and always requires you try your best and be your best as a player and a person.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I try to be a leader by taking part in student government where I am a homeroom representative and plan some of the events at my school. I also am the treasurer for the National Honor Society and the President of the Foreign Language Club. On the court I strive to lift everyone up. Attitude is everything and can be the determining factor of whether you win or lose a match. Simply supporting your team is one step to success even if you don't win the game you win a family.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue a healthy athletic perfomance by supporting my teammates. When you help someone else it is common to be in a good mood making you happier on the court instead of being nervous. As far as training, I push myself to the limit in order to achieve a new abilty with the help of my coaches.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I volunteer at my local SPCA on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year. I help keep the facility clean and assist in projects and deocrating arounf the holidays. I love working with animals and watching the change that happens over the course of a couple months.
