Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

As a college athlete I believe I would contribute to the teams success. I have always loved running and believe it is one of the biggest parts of my life, with an opportunity to run in college I feel that the coaches and athletes could help me become a better athlete myself. I hope to one day make a career out of running or work in the athletic industry.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been respectful and encouraging to my teammates and my competitors. Before every cross country race my team and I run out and I give words of advice for the current race. My leadership has been recognized by my coach who made me the team captain in my junior year.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I rely on my nutrition and sleep plan, I also only take approved supplements such as nooma, nuun, and sport beans.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I participate in youth group programs through Grace Lutheran Church. This is important to me because it helps me bring me closer to others and helps make a difference.
