Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Playing waterpolo taught me how to manage time and be organized by having daily routines. It has helped me succeed in school and outside of school. I would like to continue to keep that routine while doing what I love most.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Since I have been part of a waterpolo club with strong coaches and players, I was able to learn their leadership skills and apply to my highschool team. I am able to guide them though drills at practices and teach them daily routines on having successful workouts as well as games.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

For me, I always have to be mentally ready to have good performance. With my mental readiness, I am able to control healthy diet, daily workouts and manage my time so I can organize my time between academics and practices.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

During covid, I began working with elementary students on Saturdays tutoring them in mathematics through an organization called YLOC. I was able to help many students with filing in gaps they had while learning online at school.

I am also part of CHOC club through my highschool. We are serving children by collecting supplies they can use while they admitted at CHOC. I am hoping they can forget about their Illness by coloring, reading and making crafts we are supplying them with.

I will be interning with Athletes In Motion in the spring to gain knowledge in physical conditioning and sports medicine.
