2019 All Polar League Conference & 2019 All Section 7AA
Esko has won our section 7AA and been to state the last 4 years (this year we did not get a chance to try and make it five in a row).
The main reason is I really love playing softball. It is a place I can escape to when life is being tough. I want to play at the college level because I've worked hard and continue to work hard so I can become a college softball athlete. I feel that I just don't have softball skills to give to a team, but also many other skills that go along with sports (communication, leadership, determination, etc)
Being a pitcher makes one have to be a leader. The game usually goes by how the pitcher is performing. I really enjoy the challenge of being a pitcher. Being a leader of the field for me is by giving back to younger players in the area. I have helped many young pitchers out by volunteering my time with them.
I work out 3 to 4 days a week. This consists of running hills, lifting, and also resting to give my body a chance to recover.
I sing at my church which is very important to my family and me. I also umpire in the summer, which I really enjoy giving back to the game this way.
