NAIA ECID #7288————--I have had a golf club in my hands on and off since I was young. However, I pursued tennis for years as the sport I wanted to play the most. I had never even played nine holes of golf until my freshman year and only went out for the team because one of the players invited me two weeks before the season began. I was last on our team of 12 going into the first Invite of the year that was hosted by my school. I scored well enough that the coach put me on varsity the rest of the year! I played tennis as a freshman, but I have dedicated myself to golf ever since. I continue to improve every year through my hard work and my love of golf. We estimate that I have only played a total of 18-20 months worth of golf (due to our weather), improving from scoring 130+/rnd to scoring in the mid to high 80's! I love to golf with my dad. I know my best golf is still ahead of me as I continue to develop and learn the mental, physical, emotional, and details of the game. I really enjoy the challenges golf presents and I try to use the lessons I have learned from golf in the classroom and life. My uncle is head golf professional at Yorba Linda Country Club, California. We have family in Arizona, California, and New Mexico. Twitter is @EmJ90000

Personal Highlights

I enjoy alternative music and all things Chicago! Especially the Cubs and Blackhawks! I can also quote the movie “Caddyshack” and other golf movies with the best of them.
