Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have always played sports and been a part of a team since I was 5. I have been playing lacrosse since Kindergarten. I have been on a swim team or working as a lifeguard since I was 5 and have played volleyball since I was in 5th grade. Throughout all my school years I have played on a team - It's part of my life and I want to play on a team for as long as I can.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a nominated member of Athletes Helping Athletes for the past 4 years, I have demonstrated the importance of being a good role model for younger student athletes. We promote the importance of being healthy. We discuss how we balance school work and sports and we encourage a positive self image. We also lead by example. We make pledges not to drink, smoke or do drugs, respect our teammates, our school and our community on and off the field.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I enjoy being healthy. I eat right, exercise and do not pollute my body with drugs or alcohol. I don't smoke or vape!

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am an New York State certified Ocean Lifeguard- employed by the Village of Saltaire, Fire Island, New York since 2017. I have made multiple rescues. I feel being a first responder to swimmers in distress is a valuable service and I am very proud of my accomplishments.
I have also participated in multiple charity events that have raised money for good causes.
