Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play lacrosse in college because I truly love the game. I grew up playing lacrosse, and it has always been something that is so fun for me. I love the thrill of playing in games, and having my family cheer me on. Another aspect I love is the friendships I make while being on a team. I truly believe that playing lacrosse in college will create the best memories.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been named co-captain of my jv soccer team and jv lacrosse team. Being captain really pushed me to work harder, while also pushing the rest of my teammates. It was my responsibility to lead warmups and motivate my team, which helped me grow as a player.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete I realize how important keeping up with my academics is. I always make sure to complete all my assignments on time, and get the highest grades possible. I am extremely organized and prioritize finding a balance between practice/games and school.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been awarded the Presidential Service Award with over 75 hours of community service. Actively participating in community service is important to me because I truly feel like it helps me grow as a person. I especially love volunteering at this soccer camp for kids with special needs. I am also a member of the Key Club and Junior Booster Club in my school. I love being apart of these clubs because they provide many community service opportunities that are fun and enjoyable.
