Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

First and foremost, I value my education higher than almost anything else in my life. I want to further my education at a school where I can get a degree in Mechanical Engineering and still play golf.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a leader on the golf course by encouraging my teammates to work through hardships physically and mentally while playing golf. I am a strategic thinker which allows me to identify my problems and develop a plan for getting better. By practicing consistently with purpose I leade by example and my teammates follow my lead. Off the golf course, I am involved in the Future Business Leaders of America. I am the Vice President of the Shelby County High School FBLA where I use my leadership skills to plan group events, community service activities, and participate in competitive events.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by putting school first. I make my school work a priority in my life and when athletics gets in the way I find a way to do both the best way. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my schooling while playing golf and basketball which has taught me how to manage my time in the most efficient way.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in a number of groups that are dedicated to serving the community. These efforts are important to me because I am very passionate about giving back to the community. Especially the ones around you that have played a role in your upbringing.
