Rubio Long Snapper. Top 50 in the nation for Class of 2021. See my profile and performance reviews at: https://rubiolongsnapping.com/player-rankings/profile?player=8838
I want to be recruited to play sports in college because I want to use my skill of Long snapping to continue to play the game of football, pursue an engineering/physics based degree and excel at the highest level.
I've provided leadership off the field as Vice President of the Youth in Government Delegation at Liberty High School where I cofounded the group. I also lead my class in our annual float building competition. I've provided leadership on the field by being the leader of our specialist group, which involves getting the ball bag and kicking net for practice every day, as well as being responsible for following the practice plan.
I pursue healthy athletic performance by taking care of my body, doing things such as eating a balanced diet, using proper technique when lifting, and making sure I am stretched out before practicing. I also go to camps, where I learn proper technique for Long Snapping and make sure I am building strength in the right muscle groups to prevent injury.
I'm a volunteer youth football coach for 11-13 year-olds at East County Youth Football. I had excellent coaches when I played there and want to ensure that opportunity exists for other kids so I am coaching with my former youth head coach to learn from him.
I have travelled from Portland to Los Angeles working with Sierra Service Project doing everything from building fences in Sacramento and helping clean up after a flood in Tillamook Oregon to cleaning up an alley on Skid Row in LA. I've been lucky that I've never experienced devastation or destitution and I share that appreciation by helping those who have.
