2nd Team All Conference First Base
I want to continue to play the game I love and succeed in. Along with that, I have been told I have a lot of potential with softball.
I am a captain on my club softball team. When I’m on the field I always hustle to my position, around the bases, and do my best to stop the ball. Off the field I cheer every teammate on and I practice outside of practice by myself or with others.
I workout three times a week on average. I attend every workout with my high school softball team. I have a healthy diet that allows me to have better energy throughout the day.
I volunteer in a former teacher’s classroom. This is important because I enjoy working with children and it allows my former teacher to have less stress. My family and I donate typically once a month necessities such as clothing to different donation centers. This is important because it means the less fortunate will be able to keep warm during the cold. I have attended a Special Olympic’s event with my church, volunteering with the adults and children to make sure they have a day full of fun that they wouldn’t be able to do without the help of us. I helped a teacher sell peanuts during parent-teacher conferences so she would be able to get money for her classroom to make improvements for the students. For the past two years, I have participated in the DECA food drive. This makes me happy because I’m getting food to give to families who don’t have enough money to put a meal on the table every night. Lastly, for two years in a row my softball team put on a camp for little girls in our program to come and improve their skills. This made me happy because all the girls always have a fun time and learn something new.
