Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
For the past three years, I have been volunteering at the South Side Boys and Girls Club in
Providence, Rhode Island. At the Boys and Girls Club, I serve meals to low-income children. This is a very important service because many of these low-income children are food insecure. These children depend on these meals to stay fed, especially when school is not in session.
For the past four years, I have also volunteered with the Back to School Celebration. Every year, this organization supplies nearly 20,000 Rhode Island children with free school supplies. This project is important to me because I know I am helping children get the necessary supplies they need for the school year they otherwise might not be able to afford.
