Kale has had an IEP since the 4th grade and continues to work hard to better himself in the classroom.
Personal
Personal Highlights
-Started swimming for Desert Edge High School in Aug of 2017 without any previous swimming experience.
-Joined the YMCA West Side Silver Fins coached by Olympic Gold Medalist Darian Townsend in November of 2017.
- By August 2019 Kale had advanced to become part of the Senior Elite team for the Silver Fins by achieving State Qualifying times in 3 separate events.
- Each of the past two years Kale has volunteered at the Special Olympics swimming events and has also volunteered as assistant swim coach for the Mighty Mahi swim team with swimmers aging from 6-11 years old.
