Personal Highlights

Honor Roll and a servant leadership award for my varsity team are a few of my personal highlights.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to play softball in college because it is truly one of my biggest passions and dreams. I love softball and I want to continue competitively playing the game as long as possible. The I would love to give back to the sport I love so much by coaching.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I lead by leaving everything I have on the field every time I step foot on the dirt. I pour my heart into being the most encouraging and hardworking teammate I can be. Off of the field, I lead by serving in my community and by always striving to put others before myself.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by being mindful of my nutrition, taking strength and conditioning classes, and staying after school to work on injury prevention on a regular basis.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am blessed to be able to serve my community by helping coach the 10u and 12u teams in my travel organization, being a leader in my school's 11:1 mentorship program, and also by being a member of my school's PromRED club which raises awareness about the crisis of human trafficking. I love coaching and being an 11:1 leader because I remember looking up to girls my age when I was in lower school, and how special I felt when they took the time to help me or hang out with me. I want the awesome kids I get to work with to be able to experience that as well! PromRED is very important to me because we raise money for several organizations that help victims of human trafficking. PromRED is proof that you can make a difference no matter how young you may be. I’m very grateful for these opportunities.
