Thank you for taking the time to review my profile! I began diving in July of 2018 after 12 years as a competitive gymnast (level 10). I was and continue to be determined to take my skills and abilities off the gym floor and onto the pool deck. My grit, determination and work ethic have set me apart since I was very young. I am driven and goal oriented – and, although my time in the water has been shorter than most, you'll see my results on the board and in the classroom speak to those attributes. My short-term goals are to finish the school year with straight A's, continue my community service efforts, and to return back to the USA Junior National Championships in Texas. My long-term goals are to continue my passion of diving while furthering my academic career at a D1 school.
As college approaches, I continue to look for a school that offers an excellent education and competitive diving program - all while fostering a sense of community, teamwork and integrity. I look to not just "go to school" - but to become part of it. It is my nature to have as much of a positive impact on my collegiate experience as it will have on me.
I train with Courtney Gills and Nathan Schreiber at Atlantic Coast Diving in Jacksonville, FL. Although our team does not have our own designated pool in the area or a tower within 70 miles, I train hard every day and take advantage of every tower opportunity I get as I would like to compete tower in addition to 1m and 3m this season.
