I want to be the best, I want an Olympic gold medal around my neck. I want to win NCAA national title, and I also want to win a world freestyle wrestling championship.
I lead by example at practice by helping my teammates stay focused and helping them drill the moves correctly, also I keep them motivated by working as hard as I can. I lead by example off the mat by helping my cousin with his homework and turning in all my school work on time.
I balance my school work and my athletic performance by doing a lot of my homework at lunch and cutting out all the video games I usually play so I can maximize my time on the mat. I also wake up a little bit early everyday to practice footwork drills and get a short strength training session.
Without the community, I don't think I would be able to wrestle . I try to give back as much as I can especially to the wrestling community. For example, at my wrestling club I help the peewee wrestlers out with the drills and I help them stay focused.
