Additional 2019 Season stats:
Lacrosse is my passion. I live for lacrosse and I am constantly around it. It has always been my dream to play lacrosse at the college level and I want lacrosse to be apart of my college experience.
As a freshman I was able to make the varsity team and I am the only one in my class to do so. As a sophomore we had an entire change of coaching staff and I had to start from scratch. I still was able to earn the respect of my new coaches and not only make varsity again, but start for the entire season, including our 2 CIF sectioned games. I was the only starting underclassmen on the team and at the end of the season was awarded the underclassmen of the year. During this summer my coach personally asked me to help coach the youth club team. Finally, early this off-season I was honored to be named me as the 3rd of 5 chosen captains for this upcoming 2020 lacrosse season. I am constantly playing and I always have my stick in my hand. However when I don't have my stick in my hand, I have a part time job at a sporting goods store called MonkeySports where we specialize in selling baseball, hockey, and most importantly lacrosse equipment. I got the job a month after I turned 16 and I love it. I work as a citified sales representative and have extensive knowledge about all lacrosse equipment. Not only that, I get to be around the sport that I love the most, all the time.
I am the Founder of the Donovan's SMILE club at Beckman High School. In our efforts as a club we strive to Support, Minister, Inspire, Love, and Embrace the community around us. We focus on spreading awareness for childhood cancer. We are extremely involved with many local childhood hospitals, whether its fundraising, bringing supplies or toys, or even just going to the kids to brighten up their day for an afternoon. The name Donovan comes from a boy who lived in my neighborhood and he passed away at the age of 5 from brain cancer. He fought for an incredible 9 months, 6 more than he was expected to, until he passed away. Every memory we could have of Donovan he was smiling. I personally knew Donovan and I am determined to bring happiness to kids who need a little bit of happiness, just like Donovan brought to me.
