Personal Highlights

My father (Pete Marczyk) was left guard for Penn State (‘92-‘97) and my youngest sister has Down syndrome and needed open heart surgery. I deadlift 525, bench 255, and squat 375. I am a versatile defensive lineman and will play any position you teach me to help out the team.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to have the ability to further my education without my parents paying a dime because they have 6 kids to worry about…not just me.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I got the first tackle of the entire season out of our whole team in the first game and I also watch my siblings and teach them right from wrong.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I lift often, and I don’t smoke or anything in that category, I eat healthy and take mental reps as well when I’m not playing.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I try to do service projects every chance I get because in the end it’s all about giving back to the community whether it be going to Maryland to help out at a special needs summer camp or a baseball game for children with Down syndrome, it’s all special
