Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Sports have always been a part of my life. From a young age I have participated in all sports from basketball, baseball, football, soccer, competitive swimming, and even taekwondo. Aside from my love of the game, my mom has instilled in me the importance of education. I want to play sports in college because it is my ticket to succeeding in the classroom.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Since I was a kid, I have trained on the court/field with my team, but I have also put in extra time for strengthening, conditioning and healthy eating habits because it takes all of these components to achieve the level I wish to achieve. Six days a week, I put in extra running and lifting on my own time, I also make sure to eat high protein and good carbs.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

During the summer I am a lifeguard at our city pool. I also, give swimming lessons to beginners and others training to compete. Also, once a month I use my lunch time to talk about different subject areas in my momś 4th grade classroom. Past subjects or lessons we have covered are; kindness, bullying, the importance of grades, the role of the student athlete and sports training.
