I played Varsity Lacrosse for my school my freshman year. We won state championships and I scored in state championships.
I've been playing lacrosse since middle school and ever since I have first picked up a stick and ball, I have fallen in love with the sport. I've been playing year round since 7th grade and have played on various teams with many new people. In 8th grade I started watching college lacrosse(women's and mens) and I fell in love with how good every player on those teams were and how advanced the game of lacrosse could get. I know the game inside and out because I refereed for a year when I lived in Las Vegas. Now I'm in my junior year of high school and I still enjoy the sport and don't want to just stop after my senior year in high school. I want to continue on playing and someday coach for my own lacrosse team.
While I enjoy being hanging out with friends and participating in other social activities, I am good at knowing when it is time to take a break and focus on other important things in my life such as school and sports. I also often on my own time, research and look into things like college and careers because I'm set on having a future outside of high school.
I try to make it a habit to eat healthy. I work out and try to go to as many lacrosse functions as possible to get better. Also, almost everyday I walk to my schools turf field and shoot on the lacrosse goals out there. Sometimes I'm by myself and sometimes I am with other friends that play lacrosse but you will always find me out there. I just want to get better so I can excel in the sport I love.
I am in a after school select vocal ensemble and we go around the community and sing for different events, including ones on holidays such as MLK Day.
